Well folks, this will be my last post on this site. As I mentioned a couple months ago, I will no longer be writing the Cubs Billy Goat Blog.
Its been a fun ride, while it lasted, but its time to move on to other things.
Thanks for following me over the last few years and I hope the Cubs somehow figure out how to win it all in your lifetime.
People grow up and put away childish things.

Al Yellon will probably never grow up as he craves the adoration of the 300 pound plus women that populate his site.
Good luck with real life...coz the Cubs ain't that; though they have taught us how to deal with pain, rejection, and unfulfilled dreams. As Carl Spackler would say, "I got that going for me."

Funny thing happened along the way though, it started becoming more like work.
That's when I new it was time to quit.
A pity. I only recently began to read your blog and liked it very much. Best of luck on your future endeavors.
